Welcome Sign Xmas Ornaments
Whatever the time of year, it is always warming to arrive at a house where the owners have taken the trouble to put a welcome sign out. Welcome mats are one option, but then the person arriving just wipes there feet all over it, so mats are perhaps not such a good idea as the more decorative welcome signs.
While the best place for a welcome sign is undoubtedly on the door, or if that is not possible then right next to it is surely a good place. Where I live we have an all year round floral welcome sign with bright floweers to attract the eye. If the sign does not attract the eye, then your message will not get across.
At Christmas, why not have a seasonal welcome sign as part of your decorations? Christmas welcome signs have traditionally been in the form of a wreath, made from holly leaves and berries and other natural materials that are in keeping with Christmas. Artificial wreaths came along in the 20th century, and of course now we have a great choice of welcome sign Christmas decorations.
Something bright, cheerful, and unusual or unique, is clearly best for attracting the attention of your visitors. It does not have to be large; in fact a modest or small sized sign can attract the eye just as well, and may cause visitors to pause to look at and admire it, thus having more time to get your welcome message across. So, a hanging door ornament that stands out is a bright idea.
The welcome signs you see displayed are hand painted in metal, and are intricate and unique. They certainly are a little bit unusual, and brightly coloured, two of the sure signs that they will be noticed hanging on your door. The top, picture is of a Santa welcome sign, though whether the real Santa Claus will appreciate this whimsical portrayal is another matter!
Also in view are fairy (middle) and snowman Christmas welcome signs. But you will find many more options available nowadays.
