Christmas ornaments are chosen to bring a bit of brightness and cheer to the festive home decorations. Bright colours and flashing Christmas tree lights all play an important role in Christmas decorations. It is therefore great to have a material that not only brings its own beauty and charm, but refelcts the other ornaments too.

Glass has wonderful reflective properties, so when you have glass Xmas ornaments reflecting the Christmas tree and other lights, it brings another dimentsion to the Christmas display.

When you incorporate the usual Christmas colours with the glass orninament, you can have some lovely and unusual, if not unique, effects. Snow scenes go very well with glass balls, as you can see from the Christmas church scene above, and also in the snowman glass ornament on the right.

Santa Claus is, of course, used to the snow (but see this tropical Santa Claus story too!), so he and his sleigh, with reindeer, look very much at home on their Christmas ride in the ornament on the left.
