Tell the World It's Christmas With Giant Outside Christmas Decorations - Classic Santa Claus, Snowman, and Rudolph and Clarice

It seems that each Christmas season brings with it an increase in the number of people who want to make a big impression on neighbours and passers-by. They do so with giant outdoor Xmas ornaments and decorations, lighting up the outside of their own property, whether residential or commercial, to thrill passing children (and, if we are honest, adults) with very large and brightly lit Christmas trees, animated Santas, and imposing, pretty angels standing festive guard over them.

The bigger and brighter the better is often the motto....for those who can afford the real giants, that is. The most massive Christmas ornaments and decorations are used mostly by commercial business, although a few private owners splash out too. But there are also more modestly sized outside ornaments which can still be described as "giant" when compared to their more dainty indoor cousins.

Yard ornaments can stand out if they are well designed, attractive and brightly lit. In fact, the real giants would obliterate some smaller homes, so, as well as being too expensive, would probably look out of place and a subject of ridicule rather than admiration.

Those who take the trouble to decorate their yard, lawn, garden or outside of their house normally want a display that will please all who see it. In a yard, a 4 feet tall Santa Claus with a big smiling face will be impressive, in good context, and get many a smile in return. The classic Santa Claus pictured (top left) is an example of a reasonably priced giant that will look good in any yard, and is designed for oudoor use.

From the same range as Santa come Rudolph and Clarice (above middle), a metal and PVC lighted ornament with an unusual holographic background. Standing at the same height as Santa, this would make a good companion in the yard or garden, as would the super happy snowman featured in the last picture.
