German Pyramids - Bring the Craft of the Erzgebirge Region of Germany to Your Home With Richard Glaesser's Nativity Pyramids
It was a real pleasure to come across this range of German pyramids. In fact, to be honest, we had never even heard of German nativity pyramids before recently, and the more we looked, the more we liked.
German Christmas pyramids are an old tradition, and true works of art. They are traditionally hand crafted, and those you see here are all Richard Glaesser's designs, made by craftsmen from the Erzgebirge region of Germany.
For those of us who appreciate works of art, in all forms, plus original design and craftsmanship, these Christmas nativity ornaments can be a great collectible item to adorn your home at Christmas, and keep as a keepsake for the family.
The pictures shown here are just three of a much large collection.

The first picture is of a 4 tier pyramid, naturally driven in a spinning motion with a traditional use of 4 candles. This animated nativity scene comes with enamel wise men, shepherds, and choir angels.
What would Christmas decor be without snowmen? The second pyramid features snowmen figurines, the nativity figurines being spread over three tiers. This is smaller and cheaper than the first pyramid, and this one spins due to the electric candles rather than real candles.
Finally, the last picture is of another candle driven pyramid, this time featuring the three wise men as the nativity figures.
