Wall Christmas Trees or Upside Down Christmas Trees - For a Space Saving or Just Unusual Holiday Season Decoration
Not all of us have lots of space to put a Christmas tree each year; furthermore, not all of us like to be the same as everyone else. So, to meet the needs of such people, there is always the option of a wall Christmas tree to bring a bit of variety.

Putting a tree on a wall, though, need not replace your main Christmas tree. Even if you have plenty of space, a wall tree can look great decorating a vast expanse of bare wall. For novelty purposes, an upside down Christmas tree is sure to attract a lot of attention and comments. It could prove an interesting addition to the seasonal fun, taking guests to see it after they have had a few drinks with you first.
Christmas trees for hanging on the wall are not so common as the normal tree, which means they are not so easy to find. However, there are some around so you should be able to find something suitable for your festive decor.
The two artificial trees pictured are different not just because they can be mounted on the wall. The first (top left) is an upside down Christmas tree, and, no, it is not just that the picture has been inverted.
The idea of an upside down tree as a decoration is not just a silly modern deviation to be different. It is a revival of an ancient custom, dating back to the 8th century onwards, when, in Germany, it became a habit to hang a fir tree upside down from the ceiling at Christmas. Those were real trees, of course, while this one shown is an artificial tree, prelit, and designed to hang on the wall rather than the ceiling. The branches on one side are shorter to accomodate their hanging on the wall.
The second tree pictured is more conventional by today's standards, but that too has a unique appeal. This illuminated tree is holographic, making it a quite distinctive wall mounted decoration for your home. Standing 6 feet tall, though, you do need a fair bit of space on the wall to help keep it in perspective with your other decor.
